Demand for arrears of DA

National Council of JCM Secretary (staff side) Shiv Gopal Mishra says that the council has placed a demand from the government, but no solution has been found so far. The Central Employees Organization is continuously pressurizing the government for the arrears of 18 months. The organization says that the ruling of the Supreme Court is that salary and allowance is the right of the employee. In this case, the employees can also get the benefit of 18 months’ arrears.
Know how much you will get DA arrears
According to a rough estimate, the DA arrears of Level-1 employees range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Level-13 employees get a DA of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200. The amount of arrears will be different for different grades of employees. Explain that dearness allowance and dearness relief are given to government employees and public sector employees and pensioners. DA is given to improve the living conditions of government employees.
