UIDAI has released a new form of Aadhaar card in October 2020. Now you can also get an Aadhar card as a PVC card. This PVC card looks like an ATM card. Which is very easy to maintain. This PVC card comes easily in your pocket. Till now people were being provided with an Aadhaar card printed on paper. Since October 2020, UIDAI is providing new PVC Aadhaar cards to the people.

Some time back UIDAI has also introduced the Aadhar card as a PVC card. This is a laminated card, on which the information of the Aadhaar card is printed very well. This PVC Aadhaar card has your photograph and information as well as a digitally signed QR code. This PVC Aadhaar card is much safer than the old card.

What to do to get PVC Aadhaar card, following the
very easy steps, you can apply for your PVC Aadhaar card right from home. You can order your PVC Aadhaar card by visiting UIDAI website uidai.gov.in or resident.uidai.gov.in. On the website, you will have to enter your Aadhaar card number, virtual ID number or registration number. You will also have to pay a normal fee of Rs 50 to order a PVC Aadhaar card. After the application process is successful, the PVC Aadhaar card arrives at your registered address.

To order a PVC Aadhaar card, you have to follow these common steps.

  • First of all, you have to click on the ‘My Aadhaar’ section on the UIDAI website.
  • After this, you have to click on the option ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.
  • After this, you will have to enter your Aadhaar Card Number, Virtual ID Number, or Aadhaar Enrollment Number.
  • After this, you have to enter a security captcha.
  • After this, an OTP will be generated, after filling it, you will have to click on the ‘Submit’ option.
  • After this, the preview of your PVC Aadhaar card will appear on your screen.
  • After this, the payment section will open on your screen.
  • You have to pay a normal fee of Rs 50 here.
  • Your application process will be completed as soon as payment is made.
  • This PVC Aadhaar card will be delivered to your registered address within a few days.
