Bank Holidays August: Banks will be closed for many days due to holidays in the month of August.In this month there are important festivals like Muharram, Independence Day, Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Rakshabandhan (Rakshbandhan 2022).Due to which there will be leave of bank employees for several days in different cities.Banks will be closed for 6 days in different states this week.Let us know when and where will the lockdown be?

When will the bank holidays be closed this week?

8 August – Muharram (Ashura) – Jammu, Srinagar
9 August – Muharram (Ashura) – Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Banks will remain closed in Ranchi and Rampur.
11 August – Raksha Bandhan – Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Dehradun, Jaipur and Shimla
12 August – Raksha Bandhan – Kanpur and Lucknow
13 August – Patriot’s Day – Imphal
14 August – Sunday Weekly Holiday

16 August – Parsi New Year – Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur
18 August – Janmashtami – Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Kanpur and Lucknow
