The list of banking holidays is issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). RBI releases the list of banking holidays at the beginning of the year. This includes holidays according to the state. This also makes people very easy.

Bank Holidays in March 2022: There were a total of 13 days of holidays

In the month of March this year, there were a total of 13 days of bank holidays. It also includes four Sundays. Apart from this, this list of holidays is state-wise. At the same time, banks will remain closed across the country on March 18.

Know in which city when banks will be closed

– March 17 (Holika Dahan) – There will be no work in banks in Dehradun, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Ranchi.
18 March (Holi / Dhuleti / Dol Jatra) – Banks will remain closed except in Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram.
19 March (2nd day of Holi/Yaosang)– Banks will remain closed in cities like Bhubaneswar, Imphal, and Patna.
20 March (Sunday)– Banks of all cities will be closed due to the weekly holiday.
