DGCA: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation Office (DGCA Office) has said that all international flights will remain suspended by the end of next month. However, flights can be operated on some international routes with the approval of the authority.
The number of Coronavirus Cases has started to increase once again in India. In such a situation, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the suspension applicable to all international flights till 30 April 2021. If you understand in easy terms, then all the international flights will be banned till the end of next month. Also, the DCCA Office has said that flights can be operated on certain international routes with the approval of the concerned authority if the need is felt.

In late February, the Union Health Ministry released a set of revised guidelines for flights and passengers coming from several countries. These guidelines were applied to all international travelers arriving via flights originating from Britain, Europe, and the Middle East. The new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was implemented on 22 February 2021. Now, with the increase of the new strain of Coronavirus abroad, in India also, due to the increasing number of positive cases, there has been a temporary ban on international flights.

Ministry of Health as per the rules implemented by the Ministry of Health from February 22, submitting a self-declaration form (SDF) for Kovid on the online Air Suvidha portal to all international travelers before the scheduled visit. Passengers also had to upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report on the online portal www.newdelhiairport.in. Also, the passengers were being allowed to board the flight only after thermal screening at the time of boarding.
