BPSC AAO Recruitment 2021: Recruitment of Assistant Audit Officer 138 Posts in Government of Bihar, Check Details

BPSC AAO Recruitment 2021: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 138 posts of Assistant Audit Officer (Bihar Audit Services) in the Audit Directorate of Finance Department in the state government. The process of application for these posts will start on the official website of BPSC bpsc.bih.nic.in from 17 April. The last date of application has been set as 15 May 2021. In total 138 posts, 54 are unreserved. 14 EWS, 22 SC, 02 ST, 25 MBC, 17 OBC, and 4 are reserved for backward class women.

BPSC AAO Recruitment 2021 Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any one of Commerce, Economics, Statistics, and Maths. 
Or 
MBA (Finance), CA or ICWA and CS degree holders will also be able to apply for it. 
Educational qualification certificates should be before 15 May 2021.

Age limit:
For the general category – 21 to 37 years. 
Age will be calculated from 1 August 2020. 
There has also been a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for the candidates of reserved categories. The maximum age limit has been set at 40 years for OBC / MBC (male and female) and general category female candidates and the maximum age limit for SC, ST (male and female) candidates is 42 years.

Pay Scale – Pay Level – 7

Selection:
Based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. 
The Preliminary Examination will be of General Studies subject in which all the questions will be objective type and multiple choice. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and the total marks will be 150. The preliminary examination will have the same syllabus as the combined competitive examination. 

The successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. Whose pattern will be like this-

The final merit list will be made by adding marks in the main examination and interview.
