According to Kanishka Yadav, the AIIMS nursing officer who coordinated the helpline, he has formed a panel of doctors from AIIMS and Safdarjung. On receiving a WhatsApp message of a patient, he puts his case before the panel. The specialist concerned seeks a doctor’s consultation. The patient gets more information or is contacted over the phone if needed. The expert’s opinion is then sent to them.

Many organizations involved

Many social organizations, National Healers Association, Rajasthan Mitra Mandal, Adhyatma Sadhana and Vipra Foundation are also associated with this helpdesk. Soon an online sessions will be started from the social media accounts of these organizations, in which such corona infected curries were given steroids even when not needed and they got black fungus.
