Also, pension slips can be sent through WhatsApp. The central government said that banks should use the registered mobile numbers of pensioners for this. This decision of the central government will give relief to 62 lakh central pensioners. The Personal Department issued this order in a meeting with the Centralized Pension Processing Centers (CPPCs) of pension disbursing banks. The central government insisted that banks should consider this service as a welfare activity, because it is very important.

The government has told banks that they can also take help of social media tools like WhatsApp in this work. According to the order of the government, the pension slip should contain complete details of the monthly pension. If any tax is being deducted, then that too should be given in the slip.
