Filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) has become easier than before. Taxpayers will now be able to file ITR from their nearest Post Office Common Service Center counter also. The post office has already announced this service. In such a situation, if you do not want to fill ITR online, then the post office can be a better option for you. 

Information about this service was given on Twitter on behalf of the post office. The post office wrote, ‘Now there is no need to go far to file an income tax return. You can easily avail of income tax return services at the CSC counter of your nearest post office.

People across the country are availing of many facilities through the Post Office CSC counter. Like postal, banking, and insurance-related needs are also being fulfilled from here. Apart from this, many other facilities are also being available to the people through the post office under the Digital India program.

ITR can also be filled online 

If you use technology well, then you do not need to go anywhere. You can file your ITR from the comfort of your home. For this, you just have to log in to the Income Tax website www.incometaxgov.in. And after that, you will be able to file your ITR easily.
