India Vs Pakistan: After the 5 wicket defeat against India in the Asia Cup, Pakistan’s team is on target. Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is badly furious over the defeat of Pakistan. Shoaib Akhtar has blamed Babar Azam’s captaincy for Pakistan’s defeat. Akhtar has also raised questions on Pakistan’s batting order.
In the match played against India, Pakistan’s team was all out after scoring 147 runs in 19.5 overs. Team India achieved this target by losing 5 wickets in 19.4 overs. Taking aim at Pakistan’s slow batting, Akhtar said, “If a player like Rizwan scores 45 runs in 45 balls, then how will it matter. Rizwan played 19 dot balls in the powerplay. If you let the powerplay go like this, then it is going to be difficult.
Akhtar further said, “I have told Babar Azam many times that he should bat at number three in the T20 format. Fakhar Jamaan should be opened with Rizwan. Shadab Khan was sent to bat before Asif Ali. How Babar Azam was trying to captain, it was beyond my comprehension.
India Vs Pakistan: Priority given to Karthik
Shoaib Akhtar also questioned India’s playing 11. He said, “India also tried its best to lose the match. Rohit also did not know how was captaining. Rishabh Pant was not given a place in the playing 11. But India finally managed to win the match.
