Nitin Gadkari’s big announcement: There will be no toll plazas on the roads, the tax will be deducted from GPS

Nitin Gadkari’s big announcement: Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that people will no longer have to stop at toll plazas on the National Highway.

The condition of roads in India is developing and expanding rapidly. Now the vehicles are galloping at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. With the introduction of the electric toll plaza system, the time taken at toll points has also come down considerably. But soon you will also get rid of these toll plazas.

After the electric toll plaza, the government is now taking another step forward and preparing to collect the toll through GPS technology. After the implementation of the GPS system for toll collection, toll blocks will be removed. Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that people will no longer have to stop at toll plazas on the National Highway.

In the budget session of Parliament, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said- “The government has started using many new technologies in the matter of roads. 97 percent collection of electronic toll is happening. Now I want to get a GPS system. There will be no tolls. The absence of a toll means that the toll will not end. A GPS system will be installed in your car. GPS system has also been made mandatory in the vehicle. It will be recorded on the GPS from where you took entry and where you left. And money will be deducted from your bank account. No one will stop you, nothing.”

Nitin Gadkari said, “We are preparing to bring a new policy to bring GPS based tracking system in place of toll plazas in India. This means a collection of toll tax will now be done through GPS.
