Now a liter of petrol in Delhi will cost Rs 99.44 and diesel will cost Rs 90.77. Earlier on March 21, the price of petrol in the capital was Rs 95.41 and diesel Rs 86.67 per liter.

Prices were kept stable on 24 March, after which petrol and diesel prices have increased across the country on 25 March. After this, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased on 26 and 27 March also. The prices of petroleum products remained stable since November 4, 2021, before the assembly election process began in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. However, the price of crude oil rose up to $140 per barrel during this period.
