In this need, the tractor is part of a necessity for the farmers. Farmers do work like plowing and planting etc. with tractors. However, there are many farmers in India who do not have a tractor due to financial constraints.

In such a situation, they hire tractors or use oxen for farm work. In such a situation, to help the farmers, the central government has started a scheme to give subsidies on buying tractors. This scheme is known as PM Kisan Tractor Scheme.

50% subsidy is available

The central government provides subsidies to farmers to buy tractors. The best thing for this is that farmers can buy tractors of any company and that too at half the price. The rest half of the money is given by the government as a subsidy. Many state governments provide subsidies of 20 to 50 percent on tractors to the farmers at their own level.

How to take advantage

The government gives subsidies to only those farmers who buy 1 tractor. That is, a subsidy will be available on buying 1 tractor. For this, the farmer will need an Aadhar card, land papers, bank details, passport size photo. Under this scheme, farmers can apply online by visiting any nearest CSC center.
