First of all, there will be an increase in these three toll plazas 

According to reports, there will be an increase of Rs 5 to 30 in the three toll plazas of Gorakhpur. On the basis of the toll collection of Nayansar, Tenua, and Sharepur Chamarah, the officials are soon going to send a proposal to increase the price. With this, the monthly toll is also going to increase by 10 to 20 rupees, which can increase the load on the people coming and going. NHAI Gorakhpur zone project director CM Dwivedi said that toll tax increases every financial year. The new rate will be applicable from April 1 and the proposal has been sent to the headquarters.

FASTag – While the FASTag electronic toll collection system claims to reduce the waiting time at the toll plaza, it is also expected to reduce fuel consumption. Recently Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that if all vehicles run on the National Highway using FASTag, then India will save Rs 20,000 crore on petrol and diesel every year.
