Alert! Link Aadhaar with PAN before this date, otherwise, a penalty will have to be paid

Aadhaar Pan link Deadline: Aadhar card and PAN card are very important documents for any Indian citizen today. If your Aadhaar-PAN is not linked with the card, then link your Aadhar-PAN immediately. Otherwise, now you may have to pay a heavy fine. The government has fixed 31 March 2022 as the deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar. 

How to do PAN Card Aadhaar Card Link

If you have linked your PAN card with Aadhaar, then you can check your status by clicking on this link. For this, you have to go to your https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. 

Click on the option ‘Link Aadhaar’ on the left side. Click on ‘Click here to view your status. 

– Click on the hyperlink ‘Click here to view your status. Here you have to fill in your Aadhar and PAN card details. 

– If your PAN card is linked to an Aadhar card, then you will see the confirmation “your PAN is linked to Aadhaar Number”. 

If you have not linked your Aadhar card and PAN card yet, then you have to click on this link https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. After that click on “Link Aadhaar”. 
After this, you have to fill in your details. And your PAN card will be linked with an Aadhar card.

You can also link by SMS

Users can easily link both by sending SMS to 567678 or 56161. For linking PAN with Aadhaar number, user has to send an SMS by typing UIDPAN <space> <12 digit Aadhaar> <space> <10 digit. pan >. For example: UIDPAN 0000011112222 AAAPA7777Q. After sending SMS to the above numbers, the Aadhar number will be linked with the PAN number if your name and date of birth are the same in both the documents.
