Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021: Recruitment for the posts of Assistant Commandant in Indian Coast Guard

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021: Indian Coast Guard has released 50 vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandant (General Duty). In these, 40 posts of General Duty Officer and 10 posts of Technician will be recruited. The process of online application for these posts will start from July 4 at www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The last date of application is 14th July. 

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 Eligibility-

Educational qualification

For General Duty Officer– Graduation with at least 60% marks and Must have passed 12th with Maths and Physics subjects. Minimum 60% aggregate in Maths and Physics.

SC, ST will get 5% relaxation in marks at degree level. There will be no relaxation in marks in 12th.

Technical Engineer– Whereas for the posts of Technical Engineer, the candidate has engineering with 60% marks. Must have passed 12th with Maths and Physics subjects. Minimum 60% aggregate in Maths and Physics.

Age Limit for Both the Posts

The candidate must have been born between 01 July 1997 to 30 June 2001.

Selection – Shortlisted candidates will first have a written test. After this, the students will be called for the psychological tests, group tasks, and interviews.
