Indian Oil gave New Year’s gift: The year 2022 has started with good news. Public sector petroleum marketing company Indian Oil (IOC) has given a big gift to the people. Indian Oil Corporation has cut the price of commercial LPG cylinders by ₹ 100, which is expected to bring great relief to the people. There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

Earlier in December last year, Indian Oil had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. In December, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was increased by ₹ 100. It is a matter of relief for the common people that there was no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder at that time.

Traders will get relief

Businessmen running restaurants and hotels are expected to get a lot of relief from the reduction in the price of commercial cylinders. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to ₹2001 after Indian Oil cut the price of the commercial cylinder by ₹100. Commercial LPG cylinder will be available in Kolkata for ₹ 2077. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai has gone up to ₹1951.

Domestic LPG rates

There is no change in the price of Domestic LPG as of now. The last time the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were increased was in October last year. In Delhi and Mumbai, a non-subsidized 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder costs ₹899.50 paise. Domestic LPG is available in Kolkata for ₹ 926, while in Chennai, domestic LPG cylinder is available for ₹ 915.50.

If you want to know the price of LPG gas cylinder in your city, then you can check on the official website of the government oil company. For this, you go to the IOCL website (cx.indianoil.in/webcenter/portal/Customer/pages_productprice). After this select the state, district, and distributor on the website and then click on the search option. After this, the prices of gas cylinders will come in front of you.
