Players IPL 2021: Within two days of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, four players have withdrawn their names. R Ashwin informed via Twitter that his family is fighting a war against Kovid-19 and that he is taking a break from IPL 2021 to support his family. Apart from this, Andrew Tye of Rajasthan Royals, Ken Richardson of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Adam Jampa also withdrew from the rest of the tournament. Amidst all this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said that the tournament will continue.
Adam Zampa & Kane Richardson have withdrawn from IPL 2021 for personal reasons. The ever-increasing cases of the Covid-19 epidemic in India have caused a lot of outcries. A total of 20 matches of IPL 2021 have been played till 25 April. Since the withdrawal of the players, there has been a discussion whether the tournament will have to be stopped in the middle. A senior BCCI official, who did not wish to be named, said, “For the time being, the IPL will continue.” If someone wants to leave the tournament in the middle, then there is no problem with it.
