Renew Your DL sitting at home through Aadhaar verification, notification released

Renew DL: If you have to use an online facility for your driving license ie DL (Driving License), then this news is important for you. Actually, from renewal of driving license to duplicate license, you will no longer need to go round the RTO. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) has introduced Contactless Service on 4 March through Aadhaar verification.

For Renew of DL, a notification has been issued by the Ministry. The ministry has said in its notification that to avail of contactless service through the portal, anyone has to get Aadhaar verification done. If someone does not have an Aadhaar card, then he can take advantage of these facilities by showing the Aadhaar Enrollment ID slip.
