SBI ATM Card: If your SBI Debit Card is lost or stolen, it is very important to block it immediately. So that, no one can misuse your ATM card. Blocking your cards will save both your bank account and money as there have been many cases when the bank account has been emptied by thieves through a debit card. SBI Bank gives the option to block the card through SMS. Let’s know how to block an SBI debit card.

Understand the step by step method to block the card

1- Call toll-free number 1800-11-22-11/1800-425-3800. 

2- After that press zero. 

3- If you are using a registered mobile number and card number then press one. But if you want to block the card through a registered mobile number and account number, then press 2. 

4- If you have selected 1, then enter the mobile number and last five numbers of the ATM card. After that press confirm one by one. After that press 2 and write the last five digits of the ATM. 

5- You will get the information about the card being blocked through SMS.

Follow these steps for replacement of Your SBI ATM Card

1- If you want to replace your card then press 1. 

2- Press Digit 7 for the Previous Menu. 

3- Press digit 8 for Main Menu

4- Enter your date of birth, after which the card will be sent to your address. 

5- Confirm the process by pressing digit one.

Apart from this, the card can be blocked and replacement can be taken through the registered mobile number and account number. Know what is the process for this-

1- Press digit 2, write the last 5 digits of the account whose card is to be blocked. 

2- Press one to confirm the information. 

3- Press its two and retype the last 5 digits of the account. 

4- After this confirm by pressing one. You will get the information about blocking your card through SMS. 

Follow these steps for replacement through registered mobile number and account number

1- If you want to replace your card then press 1. 

2- Press Digit 7 for the Previous Menu. 

3- Press digit 8 for Main Menu

4- After that apply for a replacement card by pressing 1. 

5- Enter and confirm your date of birth.
