UPSC CMS Notification 2021: Notification released for 838 vacancies Know Eligibility, Exam, Selection, and other Details

UPSC CMS Notification 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday released the notification of Combined Medical Services Examination 2021. This time a total of 838 posts have been recruited. Interested candidates can apply by 27 July 2021 by visiting upsconline.nic.in. Apart from this, the application can also be withdrawn between 3 August 2021 to 9 August 2021. UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam 2021 (UPSC CMS 2021) will be conducted on 21st November 2021.

Educational qualification-

The candidate must have passed the written and practical examination of the MBBS examination. Candidates who have appeared or appeared in the final MBBS examination will be eligible to apply.

Age Limit

The candidate’s age should be less than 32 years as of 1st August 2021.

SC, ST category will be given a relaxation of five years and OBC for three years.

Selection Process

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. The written test will be of 500 marks and the interview will be of 100 marks.

There will be two papers in the written examination. Both the papers will be of 250-250 marks. Each paper will be for 2-2 hours. Candidates passed in the written test will be called for an interview.

SC, ST, and Divyang – No fee.

Earlier, the notification of Combined Medical Services Examination 2021 was to be released on May 5.

Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on 29 August 2021. But due to Corona, both the notification and the exam were postponed.
