SBI e-KYC Alert! Beware of Fake Offers, SMS and Hoax calls from fraudsters/miscreants

SBI e-KYC Alert: Cases of banking fraud are increasing continuously in the country. Nowadays, fraudsters are introducing new ways of fraud to their customer. In order to avoid such fraud, the State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest government bank, keeps on alerting its customers. In this sequence, the bank has issued a tweet and appealed to its millions of customers to stay alert. Along with this, there are also ways to avoid such fraud.

SBI e-KYC Alert: The bank said that fake e-mails, SMS, links are being sent to customers by fraudsters. Do not be mislead by such misleading and fake messages. In the event of such an incident, immediately inform the bank and the local police.

SBI has also released the customer care number. For any information, you can get any information related to the bank by contacting customer care numbers 1800-11-2211, 1800-425-3800, or 080-26599990.

Use the official portal for banking service

Customers using SBI online banking service can avail banking service through the official portal of the bank. SBI has told that take advantage of any banking services only through the official portal. If you do not do so, you may be a victim of banking fraud.

How to register a complaint on the cybercrime portal

To register a complaint through this second option, you will have to enter your state name, login ID, mobile number, and OTP. If you are a new user then you must first register yourself on this portal first. To register as a new user also, you will have to provide your mobile number. After which an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. After submitting the OTP, the registration work will be completed on submission. After this, you will be able to lodge your complaint. This work will be completed in just a few minutes.
