Faceless e-Assessment- Faceless assessment is a kind of electronic mode, which is used through a software. Under this, you will not have to go in front of any income tax officer or his office.

Under this, you will not have to go in front of any income tax officer or his office. No person will have any need to run for an income tax scrutiny assessment notice or run after a chartered accountant. It can be considered a guarantee of getting justice along with curbing corruption.

Understand in simple terms, it was often alleged that after any kind of notice from the income tax office of the accused, the matter is dealt with as soon as it comes to the concerned officer or employee.

In order to eliminate such a charge and stop corruption forever, any assesses under faceless e-assessment will no longer need to meet the Assessment Officer in tax matters.

The National E-Assessment Center (NeAC) was started last year. Under this, any person will be selected for scrutiny. After this, the officer concerned will not know about his name and Andres.

If the matter is of Bihar, then the case will be sent to Delhi, Hyderabad, Haryana, or any other city to investigate the matter. They have to deliver all the documents online.

PM Modi fulfills the dream of former Finance Minister Jaitley – Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had dreamed of ‘faceless e-assessment’. He had discussed this issue many times with his officials. On hearing this plan, Prime Minister Modi had asked to complete it soon. However, after the death of Arun Jaitley, PM Modi had given a target to complete the plan by December 2019.
