PM Vishwakarma Yojana: On his 73rd birthday, Prime Minister Modi gave a big gift to the nation. He launched the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. This scheme will help traditional skilled individuals establish their businesses. Under this plan, people will not only get a loan but also receive skill training. Traditional skilled workers like blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, weavers, and cobblers will benefit from this scheme. It includes 18 traditional occupations. You can get a loan of up to 3 lakh rupees

Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, you can avail of a loan to start your own business, provided you possess traditional skills. You can get a loan of up to 3 lakh rupees. In the first phase, a loan of 1 lakh rupees is provided to start the business, and in the second phase, a loan of up to 2 lakh rupees is available for business expansion. This loan comes with an interest rate of only 5%.

The PM Vishwakarma Yojana includes skill training

This scheme includes 18 traditional occupations. People will receive training through master trainers in these 18 trades. You will also receive a daily stipend of 500 rupees. Additionally, the PM Vishwakarma certification, ID card, skill development related to basic and advanced training, a 15,000 rupee toolkit incentive, and digital payment encouragement will be provided.

Here are the eligibility criteria:

• You must be an Indian citizen.
• You should be associated with one of the 18 trades under the scheme.
• Your age should be between 18 and 50 years.
• You must possess a certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.
• You should belong to one of the 140 eligible castes.
