There are 16 countries in the world where passport-holding Indians do not need a visa to travel. These countries include countries like Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Mauritius. Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan has informed the House about this.
In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Muralitharan said that 43 countries provide visa-on-arrival facility and 36 country

According to information provided by the central government, Iran, Indonesia and Myanmar are among the countries that provide visa-on-arrival facility, and Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Malaysia are in the group of 26 countries that have e-visa facility.
