There are 16 countries in the world where passport-holding Indians do not need a visa to travel. These countries include countries like Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Mauritius. Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan has informed the House about this.
In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Muralitharan said that 43 countries provide visa-on-arrival facility and 36 country
The minister said that the government is making efforts to increase the number of countries offering visa-free travel, visa-on-arrival, and e-visa facilities to Indians with an aim to make international travel easier.es provide e-visa facility to Indian ordinary passport holders.
Countries that Offers a Visa-Free Entry for travel are
Barbados, Bhutan, Dominica, Granada, Haiti, Hong Kong SAR, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Nepal, Niue Islands, Samoa, Senegal, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Serbia.

According to information provided by the central government, Iran, Indonesia and Myanmar are among the countries that provide visa-on-arrival facility, and Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Malaysia are in the group of 26 countries that have e-visa facility.
