7th Pay Commission: The central government can soon give a big gift to the central employees. It is believed that the Central Government is going to clear the 18-month Pending DA of these employees soon. According to the information, a decision on dearness allowance arrears can be taken soon. If the pending DA for 18 months is paid together, then more than Rs 2 lakh can be found in the bank account of many government employees.

According to media reports, the government can give this gift to the employees after the elections of 5 states are over and before Holi. Central employees are continuously demanding withheld DA from January 2020 to June 2021 (18 months).

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary (Staff Side) of National Council of JCM, a joint meeting of JCM with officials of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure will be held soon.

It is expected that the hanging DA arrears of the employees will be discussed in this meeting. In the election period, the government can give some big updates regarding DA arrears.

7th Pay Commission: 2 lakh rupees will come into the bank account

If the pending DA for 18 months is paid, then more than Rs 2 lakh can be received in the account of many government employees. The DA arrears of Level-1 employees will be between Rs 11,880 and Rs 37,000. At the same time, Level-13 employees will get Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 as DA arrears. DA is given to government employees and pensioners. It is given to the employees to help them with their living expenses.
