7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC Latest News, Government Employees: The decisions are directly impacting the employees’ pockets. Apart from state government employees, important decisions have also been taken for central employees.
First of all, while calculating the 7th pay scale for the employees of Madhya Pradesh, it has been decided to release 75% of the third installment of arrears before Holi. The government is issuing arrears of 7th pay scale to the employees.
The Tripura government has announced an increase in dearness allowance (DA) of personnel and pensioners from 1 March 2021. There is a 3 percent increase in DA for employees as well as pensioners. In Telangana, a 30% increase in the salary of employees has been announced. With this, it has been announced to increase the retirement age of government employees to 61 years.

At the same time, the Central employees have been given relief on Dearness Allowance (DA). According to the Finance Ministry, the beneficiaries will get full benefit of DA from July 1. Payment of the pending three installments of DA will commence from July 1, 2021. The dearness allowance of employees has been held up since last year due to the Corona crisis.
At the same time, the Center has also shared important information regarding the arrangement of 4 days work in a week and 3 days holiday in a week. Union Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar has informed that there is no proposal of the government to implement the system of 4 days a week work and 3 days off in central departments. The Labor Minister has made this clear in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
