SBI Alert: At present, many customers are getting messages in the name of SBI in different parts of the country.In the message being sent to the customers, they are being told that their YONO account has been deactivated.To reactivate the SBI YONO account, PAN information has to be given.If you are also one of those people who have received this kind of message, then be careful.Because due to your one mistake your entire account can be empty.
In fact check of PIB, it was found that no such message is being sent by the bank to the customers.Tweeting on behalf of PIB, it was written, ‘A wrong message is being sent in the name of SBI.In which information related to PAN is being sought from people.Do not share any information on such messages.No, your account may be blocked.Let us tell you, State Bank of India does not ask for any such information through message.
If you get this kind of message then you can register your complaint by sending mail to report.phishing@sbi.co.in or by calling 1930.According to the data of the Reserve Bank of India, in the financial year 2020-21, fraud of Rs 216 crore was done through ATM or debit card.In such a situation, before linking any message, definitely check whether it is a verified source or not.
