The Center has extended the benefit of the House Building Advance Scheme till March 31, 2022. Under this, the Center is providing home loans to government employees at the rate of 7.9 percent. Before giving relief on HBA, the Center has given a big relief to the employees and pensioners in DA and DR. However, the central government had frozen the DA and DR for the last few months due to the coronavirus epidemic. Now it has been increased by a huge 11 percent from July 2021.
