Bank Holidays in November 2021: November is starting with festivals in the country. In such a situation, there will be a holiday in most of the departments. In this episode, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also released the list of holidays of banks (Bank Holidays in November 2021). In November 2021, with big festivals like Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath Puja, and Guru Nanak Jayanti, there will be no normal functioning in banks for a total of 17 days. However, these 17-day holidays will not stay together in banks across the country. In some states, there will be additional holidays depending on the festivals and festivals celebrated there. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, an 11-day holiday

RBI has declared a holiday on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22, and 23 under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Apart from this, there will be a bank holiday across the country on 4 Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays in November.

The month of November is starting with Kannada Rajyotsava. Therefore, banks in Bangalore and Imphal will remain closed on 1 November 2021. After this, on Narak Chaturdashi November 3, there will be no normal functioning in banks only in Bangalore. There will be a bank holiday across the country on Sundays on November 7, 14, 21, and 28. At the same time, due to the second Saturday on November 13 and the fourth Saturday on November 27, banks will remain closed across the country.

Banks will remain closed on November 4 in all states except Bengaluru on the occasion of Diwali Puja.
Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Nagpur on the next day i.e. on 5th November on Govardhan Puja.
Banks will not operate normally in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Shimla on 6th November on Bhai Dooj, Chitragupt Jayanti, Ningol Chakoba.
Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi on November 10 on Chhath Puja. At the same time, on the occasion of Chhath Puja on November 11, there will be no work in the banks in Patna.
All banks in Shillong will remain closed on 12th November on the occasion of Bangla Utsav.

Banks will not operate in Bangalore on November 22 on Kanakadasa Jayanti.
Banks in Shillong will remain closed on November 23 on the occasion of Seng Kutsnam.
