Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has launched a new jersey for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. CSK has also added its camouflage in its new jersey while honoring the army. MS Dhoni, who made Chennai Super Kings a three-time champion under his captaincy, launched the team’s new jersey. The franchisee has posted a video of this on their social media account.
Along with the yellow color in the new jersey of CSK, camouflage of the Indian Army has also been added. The camouflage color has got a place on the shoulder in the jersey. Let us know that CSK has now changed its jersey after the first season of IPL.
Chennai Super Kings said in a statement that the team has redesigned its jersey since the first edition in 2008. CSK CEO KS Viswanathan said, “It was already in our mind to find ways to raise awareness about the important and selfless role of the armed forces.”
Let you know that CSK has been IPL champions in 2010, 2011, and 2018. Apart from this, the team has reached the play-off 10 times so far, while it has made it to the finals eight times.
IPL 2021 will start from April 09
The 14th season of the IPL will be held from April 9 to May 30 in six cities of the country. The first match of IPL 2021 will be played on April 9 in Chennai between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at 7.30 pm. At the same time, the final match of IPL 2021 will be played on 30 May at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings will start their campaign against Delhi Capitals on 10 April. This match between the two teams will be played in Mumbai.
