What is airbag

The airbags given in cars are made of nylon cloth. Which is fitted according to the need at different places in the cars and protects you in the event of an accident.

How Airbag Works

Airbags in cars are paired with sensors. As soon as the sensor senses that there may be an accident or an accident is about to happen. Similarly, by filling the air in the airbag, it comes as a cushion between the driver, passenger and the car. Due to which the body of the driver and passenger do not hit the body of the car and they do not get serious injury.

The Ministry had issued a notification saying that this is an important security measure for passengers sitting in the vehicles with the driver’s seat in front. The Supreme Court’s Committee on Road Safety had suggested it. On this, the Ministry had said that airbags would be necessary for the front seat in vehicles built on or after April 1, 2021. At the same time, with reference to older vehicles, it will be mandatory to install airbags with front driver seats in the current models from 31 August 2021.
