Here is how the OTP based cash withdrawal system will work :
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- The OTP is a number string of characters that authenticate the user for a single transaction.
- Enter the OTP when asked by the machine.
- Enter the amount max (10,000) and withdrawal the cash.
SBI customers can withdrawal the cash using OTP only from SBI-ATM’s. This OTP based facility is not available for non-SBI ATM’s.
There is a limit in OTP-based withdrawal system, a customer cannot withdraw more than Rs 10,000 from the bank’s ATM.
