Talking to reporters after meeting the Governor, Singh had said on the question about the possibility of change of leadership that there is no such thing. The Uttar Pradesh government and organizations are running very strongly. The strongest organization and most popular government inside the country is working in Uttar Pradesh itself.
Regarding the reason for meeting the Governor, the BJP Vice President told that after becoming the Uttar Pradesh in-charge of the party, he had not met the Governor yet, that is why he came to meet him. To a question whether the meeting took place over the expansion of the state cabinet, Singh said, “It was a formal and personal meeting.”
When asked about the number of vacancies in the cabinet, the BJP vice president said, “The posts are vacant but it is not a big issue. The Chief Minister will take his decision on the vacant posts at an appropriate time. On the question regarding the expansion of the cabinet in UP soon, Radha Mohan Singh said that nothing is going to happen now and everyone’s attention is on the election of the district panchayat president and when it (expansion of cabinet) happens, everyone will know.
Singh had also dismissed reports of alleged rift between Modi and Adityanath. He had said that if you look at the newspapers, you will see that Modi-ji was the first to congratulate Yogi-ji (on his birthday). In fact we believe that Yogi ji is the most capable person to fulfill the dreams of Modi ji.
He said that BJP has decided that party MPs, MLAs, commissions and corporations will adopt Primary Health Center in the entire state and it will also be endeavored that voluntary organizations and other eminent persons also cooperate in this work.
