Next Chief Minister of Uttarakhand: After the resignation of Trivendra Singh Rawat, a decision will be taken on Wednesday i.e. today for the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The names of Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, MP Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State Dhan Singh Rawat, and Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj are in the discussions. Although the BJP high command has finalized the name of the new chief minister, the state leadership is not aware of any possible contenders.

At present, five names are floating in the discussions in various BJP camps. These include former CM and Union Minister Nishank, Nainital-US Nagar MP Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State Dhan Singh Rawat and Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj. The name of Garhwal MP Tirath Rawat is also being discussed in a BJP camp. All MPs, MLAs and core group members have left for Dehradun to join the Legislature Party.

Some potential contenders have also joined Lambing. Some party leaders are even raising the discussion of making two or two Deputy Chief Ministers. However, by doing this in a small state, the BJP will not want to get angry with the public.

Swearing-in today:

sources said that the swearing-in will take place on Wednesday itself after the announcement of the name of the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. At the same time, about 20 MLAs met Union Supervisor Raman Singh at Bijapur Safe House on Tuesday night.

Some cabinet faces may be changed

Now after the resignation of Trivendra Singh Rawat from the Chief Minister’s post, speculation has started to change some faces of the cabinet. It is believed that ministers who are unable to perform will come under its purview. At present, the names of three such ministers are floating in political circles.

Let us tell you that after discussions of leadership change going on for the last three days, Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. Trivendra Singh Rawat reached Raj Bhavan at four in the evening and met Governor Baby Rani Maurya and submitted his resignation.
