Oxygen Generators: India has received major help from the United Nations in dealing with the second wave of Corona. So far, 10,000 oxygen concentrators and 10 million medical masks have been supplied to India by UN agencies. This information has been provided by the spokesman of the United Nations Chief Antonio Gutarais. UN Chief Spokesman Stephane Dujarric said that the United Nations team in India is continuously helping. Central government and local administration are constantly being helped to combat cases of corona infection.
Talking to the media, the UN Chief spokesman said that 10,000 oxygen concentrators have been supplied to India so far by the World Health Organization and the UN Population Fund. Apart from this, about 1 crore medical masks and 1.5 million face shields have also been sent. The UN team has also purchased ventilators and oxygen generating plants to help India. Apart from this, UNICEF is also supplying the equipment needed to deal with the corona. He said that our team has also purchased a large number of testing machines and kits. Apart from this, airport thermal scanners have also been purchased.

The United Nations says that tents and beds are also being provided by the World Health Organization for temporary health facilities. Apart from this, the agency has also deployed thousands of public health specialists so that the corona infection can be dealt with. Not only this, UNICEF and UN Development Program are also helping to monitor 1,75,000 vaccine centers in India. UNICEF executive director Henrietta Forre said earlier that the growing corona infection in India has raised concerns for all of us. He had said that in this period the whole world should come forward and help India so that it does not spread to other countries.
So far 2.26 lakh people have died of corona in India.
