National Consumer Helpline: The Department of Consumer Affairs allows customers to file complaints through the National Consumer Helpline Number. You can lodge a complaint about the bad quality of products, fake or duplicate products, etc.

The National Consumer Helpline (NCH) is 1800-11-4000 for effective and speedy settlement of consumer disputes. This helpline is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on all weekdays except National Holiday. If people wish, they can also register their complaints through SMS.

This is a toll-free number and customers can register their complaints on the call itself. Arrangements have been made under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, so that rapid and easy disposal of consumer disputes is possible. The special thing is that the deadline for the redressal of complaints has also been fixed. In case of a complaint against any company, government department, or agency, it will have to be resolved within a maximum of 90 days.
