New Delhi. Amidst the threat of Coronavirus, now the 13th season of IPL is going to be held. The IPL will be held in the UAE from 19 September to 10 November. The schedule of the league has also been released. The inaugural match will be played between the two most successful teams of the IPL, the Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians) and the Chennai Super Kings by MS Dhoni.
IPL 13 was scheduled to be held in March, but it was postponed indefinitely due to Coronavirus, but first, the Asia Cup and then the T20 World Cup was postponed till next year as the BCCI got the window for its event And BCCI also took full advantage of this opportunity and decided to organize it in UAE.
This time the entire season of the league will run for 53 days. In which a total of 10 double headers will be played. The IPL, one of the world’s largest T20 cricket leagues, will be held in three places of the UAE in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. As per Indian time, the matches will start at 3:30 pm and will start at 7:30 pm. Evening matches have been done half an hour earlier. 24 matches will be played in Dubai, 20 in Abu Dhabi and 12 in Sharjah. The playoffs and final scenes will be announced later.
All eyes will be on Dhoni
in the first match, the fans will get a glimpse of MS Dhoni on the field. Dhoni, who has been away from cricket since the World Cup last year, said goodbye to International Cricket the very next day after IPL preparations reached Chennai and now Dhoni is going to appear on the field after more than a year.
