Lockdown: The days of sanctions have returned once again amid growing cases of the coronavirus. While there is no complete lockdown in the country, states are taking precautionary measures like weekend lockdown and night curfew to overcome the corona. Weekend lockdowns are starting from today in many cities of the country including Mumbai, Raipur, and Bhopal. Although the practice of imposing the night curfew has started in many cities since March, now governments are being forced to take a bit more strict measures to overcome the corona. Here, Corona is also making new records every day. So let us know what are the restrictions from today and where are the rules before.

Weekend lockdown in entire Maharashtra including Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur
The lockdown will begin in all cities and districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur from today. Tonight from eight o’clock to seven o’clock in the morning, the entire Maharashtra Weekend will be under lockdown and night curfew. This is the first weekend that will be completely in lockdown. Apart from essential services, no one will be allowed to travel during this period. The Mumbai administration has also issued a separate guideline for this. 

Restriction in Raipur also for 10 days
Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, has been declared as a Containment Zone and its borders will remain sealed from 9 am to 6 pm on 19 April. During these ten days, only essential services will be exempted. Students who take the exam will be exempted from this restriction. All types of offices from the government will remain closed during this period.

Weekend Lockdown in Madhya Pradesh
Weekend lockdown will be held in all cities of Madhya Pradesh from today i.e. Friday. Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the lockdown will continue in all cities of the state from 6 pm on Friday to 6 am on Monday. Apart from this, some more strictures can also be implemented in future.

Delhi, Noida, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad of Gujarat, Surat, Rajkot, Sundergarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Odisha, Sambalpur, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur, Jaipur in Rajasthan, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh , Night curfew already in Varanasi, Kanpur, Prayagraj. 

Night curfew in Bengaluru from April 10

Night curfew has been announced from April 10 in other districts including Bengaluru in Karnataka. Night curfew will begin in all districts including Mysore, Mangaluru from Saturday.

The condition of corona in the country

The Coronavirus in India is creating new records every day and is creating a panic environment once again. More than one lakh new cases of the corona were reported in the country for the third consecutive day. According to the WorldMeter, 1,31,787 new cases of the corona were detected in 24 hours as of Thursday night, the highest number of corona infections ever found since the onset of the epidemic. On Wednesday, Corona had a record 1,26,789 new cases. On Tuesday too, the number of newly infected people was recorded to be more than 1.15 lakh.
