New Delhi. On August 9, the Prime Minister transferred 17 thousand crores to the bank account of 8.5 crore farmers. After that, in the next 20 days, the Union Agriculture Ministry has sent 30 lakh rupees and 2-2 thousand rupees to the farmers. We are talking about the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. With this, 8 crores 81 lakh beneficiaries have been received this month.
If there is no money in your bank account, then check your record whether there is any mistake in it. Because by November this year, there are likely to be about one and a quarter million rupees. That is, the possibility of getting money is not over yet.
According to the Union Ministry of Agriculture, till September 30, about 10 crores of 50 lakh farmers of the country had registered under this scheme. These are farmers whose papers are well maintained. The government wants to increase the income of more and more farmers by giving money directly to their account through this scheme. The Modi government has set a target to double farmers’ income by 2022.

Some agricultural experts also talk mixed with this expectation of the government. That is why they are advocating to increase its amount further. Even the Swaminathan Foundation has suggested increasing the amount given under the PM Kisan Scheme from Rs 6000 to Rs 15,000 annually. On the other hand, Vinod Anand, the founder member of Rashtriya Kisan Mahasangh and Pushpendra Singh, president of Kisan Shakti Sangh, have demanded to increase it to 24 thousand rupees.
Know who can benefit and who cannot
- Farmers who are former or present constitutional post holders, current or former ministers, mayors or district panchayat presidents, MLAs, MLCs, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs will be considered out of this scheme. Even if they do farming.
- Officers in the central or state government and farmers getting more than 10 thousand pensions are not benefited. The rest will be eligible.
- Professionals, doctors, engineers, CAs, lawyers, architects, whoever does farming, will not get any benefit.
- Farmers who paid income tax in the last financial year will be deprived of this benefit.
- Central and State Government Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees will get benefits.
Fix your record for taking benefits
Those who have not received any money in their account should also check their records. If there is a mistake in the Aadhaar, account number, and bank account number, then correct it, so that there is no problem in getting the money. If there is any disturbance in the record then you will not get the benefit of the scheme. Even after applying 1.3 crore farmers already, they could not get the money just because there is a flaw in their records or there is no Aadhar card.

Log on to the website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (pmkisan.gov.in). After this, click in the ‘Farmers Corner’ tab given in it. If you have applied before and your Aadhaar has not been uploaded properly or for some reason, the Aadhaar number has been entered incorrectly, then its information will be found in it. Check the spelling of the name as well.
