UP ITI Students: Due to corona virus infection, special emphasis is being given to online studies. Keeping in view the safety of the students, only online classes are being conducted in ITI institutes of the state. In such a situation, the meritorious students who do not have laptops, their studies are getting affected. Keeping this in mind, the Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to give laptops and tablets to the meritorious. For this, the Vocational Education Department has sought a list of meritorious candidates from all 305 government ITIs in the state including Lucknow.
Studies are done in 67 trades
According to statistics, all government ITIs of the state including Lucknow are studying in 67 trades. In these trades of government institutions, students are given admission to 1,20,575 seats on the basis of merit obtained in class 12th. At the same time, 3,71,732 students are admitted every year to 2,939 private ITIs.

According to media reports, after this announcement, the meritorious will be selected from 1,20,575 students of the first year as well as about two lakh students of the second year. Students will be able to get more information from their institute.
Giving information about this, OP Singh, Principal of Government Industrial Training Institute said that on June 10, the Additional Director had asked for the list of ITI students. The list of which has also been almost ready.
