Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana: Last year during Covid, the government started the self-reliant India employment scheme. The purpose of which was to promote employment in the formal sector after recovery and to create new jobs. Taking this plan forward, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a relief package on 28 June. Under this, the government has extended the date of registration of the India Self-Reliant Employment Scheme till March next year. In such a situation, the date of registration has been extended from 30 June 2021 to 31 March 2022. In this, those who get a salary of fewer than 15,000 months will benefit.

The third phase of the Self-Reliant India Employment Scheme has started. Under this, 12 new schemes have been started, due to which the growth of the country’s economy is being estimated. In this, all sectors are covered, whether it is a job or business. For this, an investment of Rs 27.1 lakh crore has been made by the government and the bank. This amount is 13 percent of the country’s GDP.

Employment prospects will increase

The proposed time for registration under this scheme has been extended. Due to which 71.8 lakh jobs will be created. With this, the expenditure of this scheme will increase to Rs.22098 crore. Companies which are registered with EPFO, And those whose income is less than Rs 15,000 per month, they will get the benefit of this scheme.

There will be an increase in the contribution of the employees

Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana, the central government itself will deposit the amount of contribution of the employees. This will be done for two consecutive years. Under this scheme, till June 18, 2021, a total of 21.42 lakh people have got its benefit. Along with this, 79,557 companies have also benefited.

The objective of the scheme is to increase the number of beneficiaries

Under this scheme Rs 902 crore has been spent so far, which has benefited 21.42 lakh people. The aim of the government is that its benefits reach 50 lakh people. The purpose of starting this scheme is to recover from the loss caused by Corona. So far, a 2-phase self-reliant scheme has been started. The government has now started the campaign for its third phase.
