Mi Air Charge: Without cable, without stand, the phone will charge on the go

Mi Air Charge

Mi Air Charge: Chinese technology company Xiaomi on Friday introduced a new type of charging tech. The company has named it Mi Air Charge. This new technology is quite different from the existing wireless charging methods. Through Mi Air Charge Technology, users will be able to charge any electronic devices from a distance. The company has tweeted that with this new technology, many devices can be charged simultaneously without playing wire, playing, or even moving.

Xiaomi has released a blog post giving information about this new technology. The company has said that through this new charging technology, any device can be charged remotely. That is, there will be no need for any cable or wireless charging stand. The company has said that this is a true wireless charging system.

Talking about Mi Air Charge technology, the company has written in its blog that this charging method is based on space positioning and energy transmission. Xiaomi’s own developed Isolated Charging Pile has in-built 5 phase interference antennas, which can detect the location of the smartphone perfectly. This technology has been further explained that a phase control array made of 144 antennas transmits millimeter-wide waves directly to the phone via beamforming.

At the same time, on the smartphone side, Xiaomi has also developed a small antenna array with built-in beacon antennas and receiving antenna array. Beacon antennas broadcast position information with low power consumption. Similarly, the receiving antenna composed of 14 antennas converts the millimeter wave signal emitted by the array charging pile into electric energy via a rectifier circuit. So this charging system, which looks like science fiction, works.

At present, this new charging technology of Xiaomi is capable of giving 5W remote charging in a range of 7 meters to a single device. Apart from this, multiple devices can also be charged simultaneously and each device will get 5W support. The company has also claimed that even physical observatals will not be able to reduce the charging efficiency.

The company has also said that in the near future, with this new charging technology, watch, bracelet and other wearable devices can also be charged. Soon our living room devices such as speakers and desk lamps will also be based on wireless power supply design. In this way our living room will become truly wireless.
